H.E. Zahoor Ahmed, Ambassador of Pakistan to Sweden and Finland, visited leading universities and education institutions in Turku, Finland on Monday November 7, 2022. He was accompanied by Mr. Sair Khan, Consular Attache at the Embassy of Pakistan in Sweden and Mr. Wille Eerola, Hon. Consul General of Pakistan in Finland.

Turku, the biggest city of students in Finland, and also the oldest city of Finland, is home of various top level educational institutions and world’ class research. plenty of topics and collaboration opportunities were discussed during the day, encouraging also more Pakistani students to consider studying for Masters and Ph.D studies in Turku, in the fields of IT, medical, nursing, chemistry and business administration.

Ambassador also visited the construction TVET side of Turku Vocation Institute TAI, who is already running joint-diploma programs on hospitality management with NUTECH in Pakistan, and in talks on launching first construction sector skills training programs in Pakistan.
