Over this summer Finland and Pakistan have been celebrating the 7 Decades of bilateral Diplomatic Relations, starting in 1951. During this interesting journey of 70 years, the role of Honorary Consuls of both countries has been quite significant already since 1950 – in politics, culture and especially trade, as quite often when countries don’t have Embassies in both countries.
Official letters between the Foreign Ministers of both countries were changed this summer, but let’s use two minutes to celebrate all the Honorary Consuls using their own time and efforts for wonderful bilateral relations over these 7 Decades:
